Breakfast is served on the Sun Porch, a charming wooden porch with small-pane windows to the ceiling, showing off our beautiful skies. Breakfast may also be served on the outside deck, weather permitting. A great place to soak up glorious sunshine. On chilly mornings you'll be warmed by the Hearthstone stove, the perfect complement to a "snow globe" day.
The morning greets you with the aroma of freshly ground and brewed coffee, which is made available at whatever time you request, followed by a full, gourmet-healthy breakfast. (Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available anytime, as are juices and other cold refreshments.) A fresh fruit delight precedes the breakfast entree, either an egg dish, complemented by locally-fresh-baked breads, or something on the sweeter side, hot off the griddle or out of the oven. Irish or old-fashioned oats are available on request, and special dietary needs will be accommodated as best as we can. It is our intent that your first meal of the day be your best.
You will always find something fresh-baked -- maybe cookies or mint chocolate brownies, pumpkin muffins, old-fashioned coffee cake -- and a bowl of fresh fruit to help yourself to any time of the day or night. And a late-night foray to the fridge for ice cream bars or milk and cookies is especially fun. (Our soft, fluffy robes in your room come in handy for this!)
Upon arrival, whatever your journey, your hosts welcome you with a complimentary glass of wine or ale and an introductory tour of this storied old house, to whet your appetite for whatever cultural and culinary treasures await you.
One of the best things about the England House Bed and Breakfast is that you are walking distance to Flagstaff's Historic Downtown, where you'll find a variety of eateries -- we have award-winning, regional and ethnic cuisine -- and one that's sure to strike your fancy.
